Usually painted in semi-gloss, and we like to paint your trims 1 or 2 shades lighter than full strength, if you are using the same colour on the walls.
To find the best match, we advise getting A4 paint samples called "drawdowns" or "brushouts" from the paint shop or online. Move these around the trims in your rooms, at different times of the day to test the colour in the different lights, and see how they work with your wall colour.
