Go a bit deeper...try a mid-tone neutral paint colour.
Adding a mid neutral toned paint colour (not too dark, not too light) is a great idea where natural light varies in a room. White would be too shadowy and look dirty on these walls. Mid tone neutrals are colours we see in nature, that have a bit more depth and sit in the middle range between light and dark paint colours, often giving a cosier vibe. The clients were so happy with this paint colour that they continued the colour into the surrounding rooms.
